Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education Header

These e-learning lessons and products were developed for Higher Education faculty and state professional development staff when training early childhood interventionists across disciplines to use evidenced based practices with children with disabilities and their families.  We provide authentic learner activities and opportunities for self-evaluation and student-guided mastery experiences. Each learning series has an introduction, practice illustration and implementation activities along with a practice guide and additional resources.

Connect - Modules and courses to build early childhood practitioners' ability to make evidence-based practice decisions

The Division for Early Childhood (DEC) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), through a partnership with Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG) at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, is happy to announce that both the CONNECT Modules and Courses are now available on the DEC website.

This partnership was funded by the Early Childhood Personnel Center (ECPC) for use by higher education faculty and professional development providers. CONNECT Modules and Courses are self-paced and self-guided and designed for professionals who work with or support young children and their families in a variety of learning environments and inclusive settings
