Darla Gundler is the Associate Director of The Early Childhood Personnel Center (ECPC), through a subcontract at the Federation for Children with Special Needs. Before joining ECPC, she spent over 23 years as Director of the Early Intervention Parent Leadership Project at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, in the Division of Early Intervention, and with the Director of Family Initiatives in the Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Division. Also, she is very active within the Division for Early Childhood (DEC) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). Darla joined the ECPC Leadership Team to enhance Family Engagement and Leadership at all levels within workforce development within state systems and collaborates with The Early Childhood TA Centers and National Partner organizations. She is involved in advocacy at the state and national levels and works to promote family engagement, leadership development, and utilization of technology in addition to online resources. Her life experiences as a parent of a child with a disability fuel her passion for supporting policies and practices that enhance all families’ lives.
Darla is the Past President of the Executive Board for the Division for Early Childhood (DEC) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
