Licensure Require Specific Field or Clinical Work? Audiology applicants with doctoral degrees are not required to satisfy the clinical practicum and clinical fellowship year requirements.
Licensure Dependent on an Exam? The Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology applicant must have completed and passed the national examination approved by the Division for the area of specialty with at least the minimum nationally recommended score. Scores must be sent directly from the testing service to the Division; Praxis™ Audiology national examination.

Temporary or Provisional Licensure Audiology applicant with a temporary license is permitted to complete the national exam during the period of the temporary license. For temporary licensure applicant must complete a notarized application for temporary licensure. Items which must be provided to the Division include official transcripts. temporary license is valid for one year from the date of issuance and may be renewed for one year in extenuating circumstances upon application to the Board. The licensee shall take the examination at least once prior to submitting a request for renewal of the temporary license. Requests for Board consideration of a renewal shall be made in writing and sent to the Division 60 days prior to expiration.
Additional requirements specific for schools?
 State licensure in Audiology, issued by the Delaware Board of Audiologists is required for practice in schools.

Licensure Require Specific Field or Clinical Work? Student Teaching Program means a traditional student teaching placement within a National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification or National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education approved program offered by a college or university, or such alternatives as deemed appropriate to the program, such as supervised internships or other field based experience recognized as a required component of the regionally accredited educator preparation program. For the purposes of this regulation, student teaching program also means one year of teaching experience within the last year consisting of a minimum of 91 days of long term teaching experience at one assignment during which regular evaluations were conducted, evidencing at least satisfactory performance."
Licensure Dependent on an Exam? Examination of General Knowledge Requirements 1. An applicant seeking initial licensure in Delaware shall provide the Department with official test scores for one or more of the following tests of essential skills in reading, writing and mathematics: the PRAXIS I Tests (PPST) or such alternatives as set forth in 3.2.4 below. 2. Scores of Examinations of General Knowledge. *The following minimum passing scores are required in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics for each of the examinations of essential skills. a. Pre professional Skills Test (PPST) taken between July 1, 1983 and October 22, 1993: reading, 175, mathematics, 175, writing, 172. b. PRAXIS I (PPST) Paper and Pencil Tests and thereafter with a possible score range of 150 to 190 and PRAXIS I Computerized Pre Professional Skills Tests taken January 1, 2002 and thereafter, both of which have a possible score range of 150 to 190, with passing scores of: reading, 175, mathematics, 174, writing, 173. c. PRAXIS I, Computer Based Tests (CBT) (Tests taken between October 23, 1993 and December 31, 2001), with passing scores of: reading, 322, mathematics, 319, writing, 319.
Additional requirements specific to Part C? Besides Collegiate Professional Certificate with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement, also need state standard and supervised experience with infants, toddlers, and their families.
Alternative Route Provisional or temporary The Masters Plus Certification Program in Special Education is designed for individuals with non-education college degrees who are currently employed as paraeducators in a Delaware school who want to complete special education certification. The Masters program is completed at the University of Delaware.

Applicants must provide documentation of completion of 3,200 hours of marriage and family therapy services, as defined in 24 Del.C. §3051(d), over a period of no less than two (2) but no more than four (4) consecutive years.
